This makes me wonder if my husband should be on a statin- he has shown protein in his urine the last couple of tests. He does not take Crestor - he takes Lipitor, as do I. He is taking a blood pressure medicine to treat the protein thing. I do not like taking Lipitor but because of diabetes and family history of heart disease, I am still taking it. My cholesterol is not that high- 146- but my doctor thinks I should take it anyway. Between taking that and the Bextra I sometimes wonder if I am doing more harm than good??Donna
