I am on my first day back on induction.. this evening after dinner I took my BG readings and they are the lowest that they have been in months and practically forever. 135 is not a great number, but it sure as heck beats the averages that I've been seeing.. It just made me feel good.. even though it's probably nothing to hang my hat on!!

Well, cool! I did my after dinner BG test and I'm down another 9 pts of of yesterday and well below the averages that I've been doing. This cannot be working this fast..

My blood sugar readings started falling after the 2nd day on plan....my A1C dropped from 10.3 to 5.0 in about 6 months following Atkins. It CAN happen that quickly - just continue to follow the plan as written and you'll see great changes.

You'll get there....jus tbe careful with your food choices, keep track of how you feel, what food you eat and watch for patterns...I've been able to keep myself from getting low blood sugars doing this....my meds were changed a few months ago which also helped.

right now, i'd welcome low blood sugar! lol.. I have been way too high, but it does look like the readings are dropping.
