  • Blood Sugar Levels dropping too low?

Ok so this morning i had wondered about low bld sugar levels and wether or not anyone has dropped below normal?
I decided I would test before my first bite of breakfast and was 5.0
for breakfast I had 2 sausages, omelette with tomato, grn pepper, mushroom and a little bit of cheese. On fitday it measured out to be 6.6 net grams of carbs.
To the point...I tested 2 hours after breakfast and my bld sugar was 8.1
This is seriously ridiculous! What could the cause for such a spike in glucose levels be?
    Anyone?

The only thing I can think of that MIGHT spike your level is the sausage. What's in it? You have to watch those processed meats even if they seem pure. Sausage, bacon, ham...all those are susceptible to having added sugars. Dead giveaways? "Maple cured", "Brown Sugar Cured", "Honey Ham". Go for the smoke cured if you have to have extra or different flavors. I learned early, read the ingredients. Remember, processed isn't restricted to hot dogs and lunch meat. It's scary what's in some of them.

And do watch that your sugars don't go too low. Be like Goldilocks, too much of anything is not good. Balance is just right.
    Drink more water!
