Re: Hello everyone
Hi, a New Life. Sorry about not getting around to responding earlier. I'm not always able to check the boards and even then, it's only a few posts then I'm off on something else again.
I'm sure you know by now that Atkins really does a number (pun intended) on your blood sugars. Mine went from 191 to 125 and even dropped to 107 once in just 5 days of doing Atkins. Remove the sugar and the starches that turn to sugar, there's no sugar to spike your blood sugars. It's so simple it's amazing diabetes specialists don't push Atkins!
So, how far have your numbers dropped?

Re: Hello everyone
Hi LeAnn
Welcome, how are you doing so far? How do you feel? Does your doctor know that you're doing Atkins? Is he/she supportive? Make sure to closely monitor your levels.
I'm sure you'll quickly see improvements of your blood sugars.
I see you also have to loose over 100 lbs - come and join us in the "Century Club" for daily Roll Calls. It's a great way to stay on plan an in touch with people who are in same or similar situations.
