There is no cure for Type II. Its means you are a latent diabetic due to low carbing and tight control.
That is what will give you the least complications as you age and will help you live longer.
But it doesn’t mean you stop thinking like a diabetic and stop testing with your meter, It is still wise to check a few times a week, or even daily if feel nervous about it until you know exactly o how your body copes.
When you plan on a big hike, exercise or going without food for a long period of time you must check and see how your body copes.
Same as if you are going out for a birthday dinner and pig out on Chinese food...you still must check to see if going too high.
Please don’t allow self to get complacent or believe you are no longer at risk....you are.........your liver/pancreas/cells are not functioning correctly or you wouldn’t have become a diabetic Type II in first place and they have not become totally 100% healthy again, they just cope better with low carbs so please honor your special body and care for it as no one else can.
