    not sure if this topic goes here but here goes..
    i have my binges under control more so now then what i did did before this woe, however i still have probs, for example last night i made my dinner about 630 it was catfish w/ parmashan cheese and baked, well after that i was full and i decided hmmm, wonder what i can find in the fridge, so i ended up makeing a pizza( carb kind homeade kinda) it was a low carb tortilla(which i usually dont eat) and some low carb sauce and salami and pepperoni and cheese and i bvakec it and i ate that i was sooo full but i finshed it nad even thogh i was full i felf bad about eating it but satisfied at the saem time- i cried a bit after i went to bed about it, im not sure why i do that- things like that happen alot- and i was full with the fish but??? i have eating issues :confused any advice/stories/ anything to help

    Well I can sympathise with you but thats about all. I don't see anything in your dinner that would have caused that, but was that all you ate.
    I wonder if maybe, you body craves completion, like maybe a dessert. Sometimes we think we are not thru eating until after we have had that little sweet.
    Are you keeping a journal of what you eat. That might help also. You might see something that is making you crave.

      start journaling every bite that goes in your mouth who what when why and how you were feeling both before and after. search for the patterns and you will soon learn what your trigger is and can take steps to stop it.
      One thing you cn do when you are about to binge is drink the biggest glass of icewater you can find and see if that will stall you off the binge. many folk it has if it doesn;'t at least it has deleayed you and your belly is fuller.


      Back to this meal Manytimes the fish because of its texture and ease od swallowing you don't got to chew it much doesn't allow you much time to eat and you don't get the signal from the belly to the brain WOW I just ate and am full and satisfied. Try adding a crunchy veggie you got to do some chewing on. Did you have enough fat with your fish? we actually have fat pleasure centers in our brains that the fell and texture of fat in the mouth stimulates. Maybe add some fat to your fish if you didn't have any or some dipping sauce for the veggie or a wedge of cream cheese for dessert as Desertthorn suggested.

      When you discover the trigger points be they food, events or even the people you are with you can take steps to alter the enviornmnet and not suffer those binges again. happy low carbing.
