today(DAY FIVE) was a take it slow day.I went to the park and did a leisurely walk with my twin sister for about an hour around the track.Mon-Friday I'm really gonna kick it up a notch cause next wednesday(august 3rd) is my first weigh-in and I don't want to be disappointed so it's gonna be about an hour and half to two hour workouts for the whole week.Walk for an hour on the treadmill and then upper body and stomach exercises for about a half hour to an hour.I really really want to reach my second goal weight by my birthday(august 31st).One of the gift I'm getting is a bathing suit cause I'm supposed to start learning how to swim.Wish me luck that I can lose 45 pounds by my birthday.Crosses fingers.

                Hi, Lots2Lose,

I’m very proud of you. It’s so fantastic you stick to the plan and exercise every day.

I think the support of family and friends is the best thing being on a diet. If you feel you can’t resist to some food anymore they can talk you out of it. Maybe your twin sister is on a diet too?

If you don’t mind I’d like to join your exercise challenge too. Every morning I do 10 min exercises for my abs and I’m going to jog to work tomorrow as well.

                Talk to you tomorrow!

                        Hi, Lots2Lose,

You did a brilliant job again! I’m very proud of you. I’m sure you’ll definitely reach your goal. Have you measured yourself before starting Induction?

I’ve become addicted to scales and a measure tape. I know I shouldn’t weigh and measure myself almost every day but I can’t help it. Today I decided to restart clean Induction. I’m stalled and I know why – I was eating too much berries with double cream and Splenda, too much cheese as well. Do you have any weakness for food?

I don’t go to gym (can’t afford), I exercise at home. Today I did pretty well:

20 min morning exercises for abs

                        30 min jogging

                        60 min walking

                        50 min evening cardio workout

                        Today’s menu:

Breakfast: 2 eggs omelet, 2 slices of cucumber

Snack: 1 cup of chicken bouillon

                        Lunch: 100 g canned tuna, 30 g cheese, 1 slice of tomato

Dinner: 250 g baked salmon on olive oil, ½ green pepper and 2 slices of onion

Water intake: 2750 ml (11 glasses)

                        Take care!

                          Re: Clean Induction+Daily Workout Challenge

wow you are doing better with the exercises than I am.I haven't really had any cravings at all for the past 6days but that might be becuase I stopped drinking sodas and eating too much candy a while ago. Also this time I have all this support from ADBB so I"m more motivated to see change. As for measuring myself, yes I have measured myself but am not doing it again until August 3rd.I set a goal of being 175 by my birthday(August 31st),and I now realize this is a very unrealistic goal, even with the daily exercises I'm doing. So I modiefied my goals and so now it's for me to workout everyday for thirty straight days because that is more realistic. My thing is to reward myself every 15days that I exercise,so next wenesday, day 15,I'm supposed to do something nice for myself.I don't know what it's gonna be because I don't have a lot of money.Anyone got any ideas on how I can reward myself?I live in a dorm so a bubble bath is out of the question even though it sounds lovely.lol

Hello everyone, hope you are all doing well. Here we go again(lol)

                            Today(day 7)
                            Treadmill

                            Week 1 day 1 of Couch-5k 20minutes
40 minutes on the treadmill at low intensity

                            3.2 miles
                            60minutes
                            399calories

for some reason today was extra hard for me maybe becuase I am now doing the couch-5k program so I took it pretty slow as you all can see,I only burned a measly 399 calories. It's all good though.

                              Hi, Lots2lose,

I think rewarding yourself for a hard job is a fantastic idea! I wouldn’t buy new clothes as a reward every 15 days because they will be too big soon anyway. You could pamper yourself – from head to toe – and you don’t need spend a fortune for that, just use natural products such as avocado mask for the face, herbal tea for the hair, sea salt for legs and etc.

Another way to reward yourself could be a photo session. It could be great fun! You know – make- up, nice clothes.

To be honest, today I was quite lazy. I haven’t done plenty of exercises, only 15 minutes jogging and 45 minutes walking from work.

                              Talk to you late!
