Oh my goodness that is great. I am doing the next exercise challenge. I only hope that I can achieve half of what you have done. Keep up the good work.

I just wanted to clarify the boo hoo part...I'm in the 6 week exercise challenge too and was hoping to win a ribbon.

But I'm thrilled that you have had such great results!

Everyone should sign up for the next challenge (#21) which starts this Sunday!

Thanks wannabe. I do have a question though for anyone. I keep hearing as I lose wt. my progress will slow down. That is ok with me as long as I continue to lose. Is this so...? I know as you get real close to your goal wt. you tend to slow down, but I didn't think with as much as I still have to lose, that I should be slowing down. When I lost a lot of wt. before, I lost on a steady basis, but never made it to my goal wt. to know. Any thoughts?

                Re: I Moved My Ticker!!!

congrats on the great job you did working your Atkins.

it is actually misleading when folk say it slows down.

lets use you as an example
you started with 123 pounds to lose so 1 pounds was .81% of what you had to lose.

now lets move to your current ticker mark you got 81 pounds to lose and that same 1 pound is now 1.23% of your needed to lose weight a little bigger

Now lets move your scale to 10 pounds left to lose. that 1 pound is now 10% of your needed to lose weight and represents a significant weight loss amount, almost 10 times more then what your current change is.
if you used the 1.23% change that would be just .13 pounds something you couldn't even see on your scales losing at the same rate of change as right now. it would take you almost 2 months to lose just that one pound. So the rate of change may stay the same but the numbers on the sclaes will rollover slower as each number is a much higher % of your weight loss change.
