  • BCtcCW Crew!! We're sneakin' up on the end of Sept! How YOU doin'?!

    Can you believe it's already almost the end of September?

    How have you all been doing?
    Have you been surprised at how many minutes you rack up a month?
    Did you blow past your comittment? Reach it? Not reach it?

    Would you keep track again next month? If yes, would you keep your minutes the same challenge yourself to do more?


    I've been doing really well with my workouts. Fitting in X amount of days can be difficult for me (but I do it!!), and keeping track of the minutes is a real boost for me. I've been really surprised at how many minutes I've racked up so far this month, and I've done 150% of what I comitted to - and will do even more than that!

    Next month? I'm going to commit to 1200 minutes. Perhaps 1300. We'll see!

    I hope this has been as eye opening for you as it has been for me! And I know I'm THIS much closer to having Butt Cheeks that can Crack Walnuts!

    When do we attempt the butt cracking the walnuts? Will it be a team effort?

      I lost count after I reached my goal. lol...guess I need to up it, eh?

      I'm thinking I'll aim for 1000...no need for me to get all yahooy about it.

        I think I'm gonna *just* make it. Next month I'll try for 600 exercise minutes.

        Btw, I'm loving this challenge. To just say, "I'll exercise x-days a week" is one thing, but to give it the twist of a number of minutes to strive for makes me want to do *more* exercise on those days! [Whereas with x-days a week, I could get away with 10 minutes a day, for example, and still be doing the challenge. But, 10 minutes a day, 4 times a week would never get me to 600 minutes, you know?]

          I exceeded my 1000 minutes! I did 1320 minutes in September.

          I'm setting a goal of 1500 minutes for October.

              I hit over 1700 of my 1000 for September!!

              I'm gonna bump it to 1500. We've got one more whole day this month than we did last month.

              We did AWESOME, ladies! Seriously. I'm so proud of us! Who'd have ever thought we'd really invest THAT much time in ourselves?!

              As for the walnut cracking, I think that should be an individual event - done in the privacy of each of our own homes - BUT, if you're feeling froggy, by all means, post a before/after of the poor nut for the BCtcCW Crew to rate on a scale of 1-10. heh

                I was in a car accident and couldn't keep up on my exercise for over a week, so I decided to start fresh for this month. I'm giving myself a modest goal of 600 minutes, which equals 30 minutes/day, 5 days/week. This is modest compared to the level that many of you are achieving, but for me, exercise is something I have to FORCE myself to do. I'm hoping this commitment will keep me honest and motivated!
                I'm thinking of buying 'Windsor Pilates." Anyone have experience with this stuff? I've taken pilates classes and really love the workout. This might be the thing I need to keep motivated: finding exercise I actually enjoy!

                  UG- that's exactly the key. The best exercise is whatever you'll actually do!

                  I have Winsor Pilates and it's a really great set. Know that while it will strengthen and tone muscle, it is not going to cut it for cardio exercise. To burn fat, you need to get that cardio in there too

                    I am goign to change my siggy right now to say exactly how many minutes I am COMMITTING to this month. I have been exercising teh past couple days and I need to go with it!!!! I commit to 600 minutes. That is serious stuff for me folks... I am going to do this this time!!!!!

                        But that is only 71 minutes of exercise everyday (hehe- I would collapse!) this month- or almost 2 hours a day 5 days a week! WOW- I believe you can do it! You seem so dedicated!!!!!
