  • March Vidiots Choice Challenge - Sign Up Here!!

    Hi Everyone - As many of you know, several of us who enjoy suffering (I mean, working out) to videos have been posting over in the Vidiots House of Pain Part Deux in the Exercise forum as part of a couple of challenges.

    In March, we've decided to do a "Vidiots choice challenge," where you pledge a certain number of days to workout with videos, and then choose whatever you want to do on a certain day: pilates, yoga, step aerobics, rebounding, circuit training, weights, stretching - anything you want.

    New members are very much wanted!!! If you're interested, just post here with a pledge for a certain number of days and add it to your signature.

    Then, come join us in the Exercise forum in the House of Pain Part Deux to discuss everything video related.

    Can I use Pilates Videos that I already have or is it a particular series that you all are using. I have a set of Windsor Pilates. Just want to makes sure before I join up.

      This is any tapes you already have, so pilates is great! Welcome!

      How do you like the Winsor tapes? I have Pilates for Dummies, but I've been thinking of moving on to something more advanced.

        I love the Windsor Pilates DVD set that I have. I am very, very heavy but have found that I can do the pilates just at a little slower pace. I took gymnastics as a kid and am still extremely limber. The pilates keeps that possible. I can still sit on the floor with legs spread apart and lay down in the middle.

        Anyway, I will pledge 15 workouts.

          Awesome, I'm excited. Ok...

          I pledge to do 20 workouts for the month of March!

          I'll be doing WATP 2 (hopefully 3 mile) and using my health rider on alternating days.

            I pledge to do 20 video workouts for the month of March. I'd do more, but I've already committed 1000 minutes on the any exercise machine challenge.

                Today I did my first March video workout. As a way to start off with a bang I did the 3 mile WATP dvd. I couldn't believe I actually did it. I'm still in shock. 45 mins and 1 workout down... 24 more to go.

                    Hi everyone! can someone tell me what Pilates videos are ? I would like to join but I am big and just made it to 30 min on the treadmill and signed up for 30 min five days a week but I think I could do two videos a week . do I sign in on this thread or the Pain ?lol one you were talking about?                         You can join the Vidiots House of Pain Part Deux--that is where you keep track of your workouts.

                        I know nothing about pilates but since you are just starting out you might want to look for Leslie Sansone's two mile walk. It is a great way to get up and moving.

                          The Vidiots House of Pain Part Deux is over in the exercise forum (rather than exercise challenges).

                          Pilates is hard to describe, but it's a combo of stretching and core (ab) work. Sometimes they use light weights, a ring, or a stability ball.

                            But more importantly - this is a vidiots choice rotation, so you can do whatever videos you want, not just pilates.
