  • APRIL Stability Ball Push Up Challenge---SIGN UP AND REPORTING THREAD

    i am doing this again. i did benefit from the pushups and it happens to be the only challenge i met my goal on.
    if anyone cares to join in, lets do again!

    just like in the abs challenge, it would be great if you would state your goal and then each time you add some pushups just add them in like 135/500 or whatever your numbers are.

    i'll shoot for 300 this month.

    Okay, I said last month I'd do 252, and I ended up at 444, plus any I might do tonight. I'm going to go out on a limb and say I'll do 50 a day for a total of 1500 for april! Sound good to you? I want that BODY to die for!

        I am going to give this challenge a try with the ab challenge. It is Day 1 of Atkins for me so what a great way to start. I am going to try for 450 this month.

        Week 1 (6/21-6/27)
        1. Drink at least 1 gallon plain water daily
        2. Try at least 3 new recipes (this will be tough-I always prepare things the same-this will encourage me to try things differently and include foods that are different for me)
        3. Try at least 5 new foods on acceptable foods list (this will also be tough being that I only have a set food list of about 10 things I eat)
        4. Begin exercising by walking everyday.
        5. Take a before picture of myself

              Well - after starting well last month I didnt make my total 150 (only 90 ) so I will give it another go again this month.

              Shooting for 150 again

                  great to have you again, eli! i didn't make my bike challenge or the ab challenge. don't feel bad about not making your goal. that is part of the challenge in all of this.

                    I am going to need some serious help to get through this challenge this time! I hope my muscles get excited and grow pretty fast, those 50 I did today were tough! I'm down to between my hips and knees on it now, and talk about working your entire body just to stay on it! WHEW!

                          well done jas! where are you placed on your ball now?

                          good deal, eli, getting 10 in today! are they getting any easier

                          i got 30 done today. i found out something. if you let some air out of the ball they are a bit easier. i think that is why i was able to get 30 in. jack is going to add just a bit of air in for me. that's been my experience, anyway.

                            I've got it at my knees, but the thing is so big it's still on the thighs too, it's hard to hold your body straight, it really works those core muscles in your middle to stay on it.

                              hey jassy, do you have the ball too big?
                              jack put some more air in mine and now i think it's a bit too big. it feels "harder" than normal. i'll keep adjusting till it feels like it did before the move.
