I know! I can't wait to move on to the mountains. I've always wanted to climb Mt. Everest It's nice to know I can do it without actually having to brave the frigid weather, incur blisters or face unknown dangers.

Just finished my last Mars mountain! Whew!
Taking the trip back to Earth as time off, so as to decide where to go climbing next.
Any chance of setting a level for "base camp" on Everest jimmie, maybe reserved for second timers? That way, one wouldn't have to commit to re-climbing the entire bad boy again, but could take it in stages and then decide to either continue, or stop... or even pause and do a "shortie" while enroute. Just a thought...
                Before and after:

                PLEDGING FLIGHTS
Completed: 1st set of buildings and mountains (Everest,M.Blanc & Kilimanjaro, twice); Tower Masts & Chimneys; More virtual buildings; Challenger's Choice x 2 (volcanos and mountains on Mars). Currently climbing: Mount Snowdon again: 416/475

Start 10 Jan 2005. Maintenance since Aug. 2005.

CONGRATULATIONS SAL!!! YOU'VE FINISHED YOUR CHALLENGERS CHOICE FOR THE SECOND TIME!

with that climb, we have a total of 101,490 FINISHED FLIGHTS!

base camp? i think we could manage that for second timers. i mean, after all, in a virtual world my boots, tent, generator and MRE's are still there.
if you're game, so am i.

Congrats Susan on defeating the paper monster!!!

Jimmie... thanks for the 2nd CC award. Cool!

So... looks like we're three for Everest... at least up to base camp; and then... who knows... we might end up at the top again eventually. One thing is for sure... I'm not putting my aerobic step thingy away at this stage of the game!
I seem to remember we were all (Jimmie, Susan and yours truly) on Everest together, at some stage, last time around! Cool!

Jimmie... as our fearless leader... how many flights do we have to do to reach base camp?

yep, we 3 were on everest the last time, i had not thought of that. carole is heading to the mountains next so maybe there will be 4 of us!

base camp: i already have 205 flights done, not knowing where i was at.
is that more than you? is that more than you, susan? if so, how about 200 to base camp. i'm alread there and have things set up. while i am waiting for y'all , i'll virtually do a couple small buildings or something. when you arrive, we can take off together.

let me know if that works for the both of you.

any others who want to tackle everest are welcome to join up at base camp.
