    Completed: 1st set of buildings and mountains (Everest,M.Blanc & Kilimanjaro, twice); Tower Masts & Chimneys; More virtual buildings; Challenger's Choice x 2 (volcanos and mountains on Mars). Currently climbing: Mount Snowdon again: 416/475

    Start 10 Jan 2005. Maintenance since Aug. 2005.

      sal, i'm at base camp 3500. see ya when you get here which i can tell by your siggy will be saturday or sunday, most likely. the summit is in sight!

          Planning to finish Big Ben, England 632 steps 42 flights today. As of yesterday i did 30/42 but i've already done 7 flights this AM which i won't add in until tomorrow morning. Hoping to start Seattle Space Needle, USA 1,164 steps 78 flights withn an hour or two. I didn't know it would be so simple to build stamina going up steps! The energy that i get from induction foods and this challenge in particular makes this WOE SOOOO worthwhile ( Okay, thankfully i'm losing inches too and that feels great - but right now that's just the bonus > it's barely visible - the real benefit for me, for now, is the energy boost!)

              it's so good to read things like this, soon. not just the fact that you really liking the challenge but the progress you and dh are making in your size and especially your health!

                Seattle Space Needle, USA 1,164 steps 9/78 flights as of Sunday night.
                Love to sprint up the stairs now!

                            was it 2300 or 3500.... ch..ch...ch./.brrrbbbbrr..... its been so long...
                            Amazing how many extra flight can be got in when you 1) make a rule only to hit "snooze" on upstairs alarmclock, when it is set for 1/2 hour before DS has to catch bus, the latter of which is over an hour before time to leave for work.... It goes off every 9 minutes! On top of that, I forget stuff at the ungodly above hours, and make even more trip up and down on account of that....

                            but regained ~20# in '07 in less than 3 weeks! And again early '08 ...Was in HEAVEN -got to 150, for awhile, then got too busy, and gave in too much... and... OK holding pattern "keep it together..."

                                • Forth Rail Bridge, Scotland 680 steps 45 flights - DONE!!!
                                • Starting Sydney Opera House, Australia 14 /28 flights so far!
                                • My goal for this past week (Sunday - Saturday) was 120 steps and i managed to surpass this doing 144!
                                • Most important personal objective - NO MORE HUFFING and PUFFING after one flight!!! (A bit of a huff/puff after maybe 5 in a row - but barely) > this is a quality of life kind of improvement IMHO.
