          OOPs! I did a copy/paste error when i originally posted so i edited it to correct it. i think it's correct but can't access my spreadsheet just now.

                I would like to join this challenge, is that still possible? Starting with the stairs at home and at work. The once at work will be new for me, because I always took the elevator ;-)

                  ingrid, this is what i call an open challenge. meaning, you can join anytime
                  let us know what you are climbing and keep us up to date on your progress. you can do that daily, weekly or anytime. i keep track of all things PLEDGING FLIGHTS so make sure you let us know when you finish a building, mountain or something else.

                  and now........ you are added to the spreadsheet as one of the pledging flights challengers.

                    Great Jimmie, it all sounds so excited.
                    I read here the following:
                    Pledging Flights Challengers will stairstep a total of 3 virtual climbs. Each climb should be no less than 3,000 ft in height.

                    So, 2 steps is a foot. 3000 foot = 6000 steps. And 6000/15 = 400 flights. Since I'm doing many other sports as well it will take me months to finish this. Hope that is okay.

                    Mountains, Buildings, Towers, Masts and Chimneys that are already a part of other virtual climbs are not available for this option.

                      those are the instructions for the Challengers Choice Option. instead of climbing just a mountain, building, tower or whatever, it's your choice of what you climb. so long as your choice is not on any of the other lists and is at least 3000 ft in height you can use it for the Challengers Choice.

                      this is the calculation that my dh came up for the Challengers Choice. it was a close as he could come to matching the original climbs.

                      note: the original worksheet is not working properly... AGAIN..... and will have to fixed.

                      that link is not working either. there was an upgrade to the board yesterday and that might be why things are not working. i'll work on this and get things straight, hopefully, by the end of the day.

                      again, i'm sorry the links seem to be messed up. i've tried to get to the free pdf hosting site to check the status of the worksheet and the log in feature is messed up.

                              thanks. i have a saved copy. this problem of see it now, not see it now, has been going on since the beginning of man, i think.
                              the pdf site is weird. i can get to the site, i can get to the support link, i can get to the donation page but the log in and faq's page are not working for me.

                              what i may end up doing is just make another sheet with the original stuff and just upload it to the adbb gallery. but not today.
