  • June Stability Ball Push Up Challenge - Sign up and Reporting Thread

    June is fast approaching and it's time to start signing up for the new Stability Ball Challenge!

    If your new to the challenge, it's simple to join in. Just state how many pushups you want to do for the month, and then as you progress toward your goal report back here on how many you've done.

    I've decided to go for 30 a day, so my goal is 900 for the month!

    Can't wait to get started on June!

    thanks for taking this on saty!
    the pushups have gotten much harder as i rolled that ball down to my knees. i want to concentrate more on my biking and the pledging flights this next month and hopefully get over to join the "Y". i am going to reduce my number to 250, keeping the ball at my knees.

      Sounds like a good plan jimmie! I notice that quantity isn't as important as quanity. It feels good to move the ball down, and you are doing so well to have it all the way at your knees!

          I'm in! I'll pledge 25 per day for 30 days, that's 750 for the month of June. Upping it from 20! I'm still firmly under the hips, but am hoping to start moving the ball down as July approaches.

                  wow Jas you go girl. Jimmie 48 all the way to the knee woo hoo.

                  I'm playing with getting up on my toes to increase the difficulty level and will stick with 100 on Monday wednesday and fridays for June.

                    my level of waaayyy to difficult is at my knees, 2ibg. lol
                    it will be a long while before i can get to my toes! not a far trip at 5 foot but still.......

                      this is what I'm aimimg for but my feet and the ball will not stay connected. The UC RIVERSIDE girls TEAM does this for conditioning and upper body strength.

                        i think she can do that because she is young....yeah,,,, that's it!

                        oh and if you notice, she is only doing one of those. it's a replaying repeat. watch the guy in the background.

                          It might be possible if your ball is not fully inflated. That way you still have support but it allows your feet to make a dimple and the bottom to lay flat on the floor. Just an idea!

                              i vote for dimpleing the ball and cheating! lol

                              those would be hard with or without a dimple in the ball. i can't even imagine getting to that point. doing 7 or 8 in row with the ball at my knees is killing me!
