August 9 - RIU
August 10 - Rest day - went to the local fair and walked---a lot!
August 11 - Going to try BIU today....don't know what that's gonna be like, but gonna give it a try...I'll report back how it went after I'm finished with it.
Have to update my signature too...been away from here for a few days and there's so much to do when I get back.

OMG!!! I did Burn It Up for the first time! All I can say is WOW! I thought RIU was tough when I started that one, doesn't even compare to this. I had to take a few breaks, but I did it...and I actually feel good. My legs and arms were shaking a bit when I finished up though.
Barb, sorry to hear all that you're dealing with now. Hoping things start to go better for you really soon!

Hey y'all!
I know I started this challenge but I can't finish it right now! I even bought "cool it off" from ebay in anticipation for after I was done here. Anyway, what's up with me is that I'm going for X-rays on my foot and probably a cortisone injection this week (Thursday). My chiropractor has referred me to a podiatrist! It seems my bad foot (because it makes me walk funny) put my bad spine out of adjustment... sigh! Oh like the song, "the knee bone connected to the leg bone... oh didn't it rain!... Oh the bones...."
For those who don't know... I have plantar fasciitis from not wearing good shoes, being too heavy and exercising too much or ??? It is very painful and common and can take 18 months to mend! It starts out feeling like a stone bruise and goes away easily with movement in the beginning. I have been SUFFERING with this since February and sleeping in tennis shoes for a month now and still think it sux. I am very depressed over this and although I am continuing with low carb... I am maintaining and not losing any more. Did you hear the VERY DEPRESSED part... wahhhhh!
Please keep doing it if you are physically able... otherwise there's no excuse! Count your blessings and... know as you sweat and your muscles burn that I wish it was me! I'd estimate I can restart the SI6 in less than a month and I will!

Ramped it up on the 15th, 16th and 17th. I only did 30 minutes on the 16th. I don't know how, but doing RIU is getting harder and harder the more I do it, instead of easier. This sucks! Anyway, I'm 24 of 36. Can't wait until this challenge is OVER!!!!

It looks like this challenge is pooping out by more people than just me...
I had my cortisone injection yesterday! TOTALLY PAINLESS but after hearing horror stories about them, I was very scared! I will be laying around with my foot up a lot and watching tv and on the computer and ice packs for the next couple of weeks - taking it easy. The foot doctor (podiatrist) said that if I follow his instructions that he can get my foot well so it will not be a chronic problem.
What happened to this challenge? Why'd the rest of you quit?

August 21 - rest day (spent the entire day preparing my room at school, came home and had to take DS to football practice, then DH and I went grocery shopping)
August 22 - BIU and S&L
Still going with the challenge....have to keep going...need to lose 10lbs by Halloween!

Sorry guys. I crapped out. Life got in the way too much in the last month.
I have started jazzercise 3x a week though. And am doing other videos a couple times a week as well. Just couldn't hang with Debbie this time around.....

Well, last week, life got in the way of me doing the SI6 DVDs...I did walk each day. Have to get back to doing the DVDs. I'm at 29 of 36 workouts. I know it won't be done in the 6 weeks, but I will finish this round.
I'm planning on starting another round of SI6. Maybe do the SI6/Turbo Jam rotation again, but definitely the SI6. Planning on not letting anything get in my way for the next round of SI6...actually going to complete it in the 6 weeks!
