  • Join the Tae-Bo Challenge! One month!

    Hello everyone!! I thought about a Tae Bo Challenge since so many of us enjoy it!
    Are you ready to work out??? *insert Billy Blank's voice here*

    Starting from today July 19 until August 19, everyone should post a goal and try to achieve it.
    For myself: I exercise 5 days per week, 30 min each for a total of 2.5 hours per week. So I challenge myself to 3 hours per week!

    Let's report progresses here and support each others!
    Hope to see many people around!!!

    Hey Roshen!!!

    This sounds like fun...but I just joined the Slim in 6 Challenge which is 45 mins a day of exercise! I want to still do some Tae Bo, but my goal is definitely going to be modest....

    I'm thinking of doing Tae Bo twice a week in supplementation to the SI6 routine. I really like the ab routine, so maybe I'll try to fit that in.

    Oh my! Yet another challenge!!! My head is spinning!

      any goal will be fine!
      I'm just trying to create a support group for me as well so I'll feel more motivated to exercise!!
      and Tae Bo is my fav work out so far!!!

        I will definetely join this challenge. I haven't really been exercising, just doing the abs for the abs challenge. so I have an old taebo tape that I will use. it's the 60 min tapes, sweat and burn here I come.

            I usually do the basic workout in "Get Ripped" and the Cardio one.
            This week I want to try the Advanced one in Get Ripped! 'cause when I finish the basic I feel that I could do a bit more...

                Ok. I have been sitting here trying to decide whether or not I want to join the challenge. My main reason is that I am not exercising at all and I know it will be tough. But who says anything worth having comes easy. I will pledge to get up early at least 3 days a week and complete one of my Tae-Bo DVD's. I am starting with the beginner one but may end up moving up.

                I saw a show once where the person lost a bunch of weight and they made the decision that they could wake up an hour earlier each day or be fat the rest of their life. I choose waking up!!!

                    I am not sure which ones I have. Actually I don't even think they are Tae Bo. I think they are the Boot Camp ones. Will they still count? They came with bands, which I don't even think I have anymore.

                          Well, joining this challenge has got me motivated. I actually got out there and walked this evening. I went 1 1/2 miles but had to stop because my 4 year old was "too tired" to ride her bike any further. I ended up pushing it home . My son and I decided that an evening walk would be our thing seeing that he seems to have an ENDLESS energy supply that I would love to be able to tap into.


                          Anyway, tomorrow I get up before the son to do my first day of Boot Camp. I did the tape one time months ago only to discover that I had a ruptured achiles tendon and wore a ski boot for 6 weeks! So I'm taking another crack at it.

                          Good luck to everyone.

                          Hey, does anyone know how to make the fancy buttons we could add to our sigs to tell everyone about our challenge . The smileys are as high tech as I get..
