Ok, all the compliments on "goal already"...here is the deal. I ride the bike at the clubhouse while my new neighbor is on the tread mill...she goes for a little over half an hour, and on that bike, a lifecycle, I can spin close to 13 miles in that time...Before she gets to the clubhouse I have been working out on jogging on the treadmill, which I claimed on my Triathalon that Lyssie leads...so we switch machines...after my 1 mile...I went 1.5 today, but I don't claim it here...I claim it over there!!!!

Hey, Tam! Sorry I've been AWOL. Traveling without computer access, and then struggling to get caught up at work when I got back. But, I have been getting in some miles... not as many as I should, however. Please chalk me up for 20 out of my 60. Thanks!

I'm confused....so are you reporting miles above or not because I've read what you wrote 3 times, and I can relate to using mileage one place that you don't claim in another...... But I really am confused

Tam I am sorry to confuse you...I am counting all the miles on the bike, but not the treadmill, so all reported miles bike miles... Having company and a workout partner has increased my time on the bike, thus the explanation of why I am at goal and over.
The treadmill time I put in, I report over to Lyssie's Triathalon...
Hope this clears it up, I am sorry.

Today i rode the bike 6 miles.

(sigh) I really am having trouble staying motivated to exercise. My eating and weight loss are going okay, but I can't get my butt in gear for the life of me.

I am fairly certain that once again, I won't finish this challenge. I hate starting things and not finishing them, yet it's becoming a habit with me on these exercise challenges. What's the deal??

I am committed to walk/run the Georgia 1/2 marathon at the end of March, so I have no choice but to get my booty moving. But, like I tend to do with everything else, I seem to be procrastinating until the last possible moment to start my training in ernest. I'm really frustrated with myself!

its not easy, but you can do it. Pick an exercise and "make" yourself do it. after a while, it becomes habit and is easier to do.
Imagine yourself at goal, dressed a certain way, doing something special and think about that while you exercise. You are worth the time it takes to get healthy and like you said you've got the eating and weightloss going good and that in itself is awesome!
You can still make goal. Just do the WATP 5 miles a day, it is exercising right there in your living room.....you can do it!!!! I believe in you girl
Now pick an exercise and get that hiney of yours moving!

You can do it, Adena! If this reformed couch potato can stay on track with running for 3+ years, YOU MOST CERTAINLY CAN.

Tuesday, 12/19: 6.3 mile run before work.
