        Count me in, but I won't have my ball until day after tomorrow! I'm not sure what to make for my goal until I try it out. I have a movement disorder and I am thinking about video taping my first efforts and sending it to America's Funniest Videos! Should be a hoot. Glad I live alone!

        Sunny!

          maggie, when i started out, i started with the ball at my thighs and shot for 250. i was use to moving tables and chairs around for the wed. night meal at church so i has some strength already.
          i would say you could challenge yourself to 60 or so. that would be 2 a day. or go for a weekly amount of 20 per week, which would be 80.
          remember, the more you do the better and stronger you will get so you should be able to do more at the end of the month than when you started.
          nice to have you joining me!

              Re: January Stability Ball Push Up Challenge sign up/reporting thread

              Hi all - I'm in for January BUT I'm travelling from Jan 7 - 26 so that leaves me very limited time.... (darn I wish I could get this ball in my suitcase!) So I'm going to shoot for 100 a day from Jan 2 - 6 and 50 a day from Jan 27 - 31. For a total of: 450 I think

              As far as starting off, I started at 10 a day, 5 days a week, at my hips. It only takes a minute or two to do, so you can also split them between morning and afternoon.

              Sunny - Falling off and looking like a weeble is part of the fun! (especially for the others that were watching me )

              I can only hope to work up to Jimmie's level of doing them at her ankles!!! That's my goal!

              Sexy arms for 2007!!!!! Here we go!

              Kacey

              F/40/5'2"
              Start: 7/24/06

              Current: Lost 49.25 pounds & 49.4 inches
              For weekly stats: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ad.php?t=38056
              Mini Goal: 90 kg/198 lbs <= MET Wk 13 - Oct 23
              Mini Goal2: 83 kg/182 lbs<= MET Wk 19 - Dec 30
              Mini Goal3: 75 kg/165 lbs (drivers license weight from YEARS ago!)
              Long Term Goal: 20% body fat! THEN I've made it!

                          I'm going to shoot for 10 per day, 5 days per week, for a total of 200. This should be doable and I will increase as I get better. I exercise 6 days per week, but Wednesday and Saturday, I do much less.

                          Sunny!
