    Welcome to Januarys Mileage Challenge!

    This is the same challenge we just completed for December ....but now its January............so lets pledge our mileage and go for it!

    My name is LadyHawke and I pledge 80 miles for January - who'll join me!

    Its a new year, let it be a new you too!

                Those of you who know me know I think of myself as wrapped in a cocoon of fat that is slowly melting to release the beautiful butterfly I have within.


                We are all wrapped in cocoons to different degrees and we all have the ability to become the women we long to be, to release the beautiful butterfly with us.


                By being here at the JMC and pledging our mileage goals we are well on our way to accomplishing that release!


                Attitude is everything. Knowing and remembering that we deserve to reach the goals we set for ourselves, that we are worth the effort it takes to exercise and that we will be healthier and therefore happier once we accomplish these goals helps us to take care of ourselves and focus.


                So my beautiful butterflies......lets focus and make 2007 the best year ever!!!!

                  I'm with you too. I've been sorely lacking in the exercise part of this.

                    THIS IS SO EXCITING SEEING SO MANY NEW FACES ON THE THREAD!!! YIPPEE!!!!

                    As for me .. hmmmm...gotta factor in the tapering down and up from my 1/7 marathon (26.2 miles) .. so I'm in for 100 miles this month!

                    WE CAN DO IT! IN FACT, WE CAN EXCEED OUR GOALS!!!!!!! Grab your water and git'r done!

                      upon careful consideration and looking at the past month of totals for me, i am in for 120
                      biking miles miles.

                              2 Miles Walking/Jogging! (yes, I jogged a bit!! My dog couldn't belive his eyes, bless his heart!!) I had my first side stich in 13 years!! Ha Ha Ha - It is great!
