    jack was on the computer so i used the time to bike.

      Oooooooo....Juli did you see that??? Jimmie did 15.3 today!! You guys are making me look terrible!! (And I was so proud of my 3 miles yesterday!) LOL

      This is great motivation for me - Thanks!!

        Dang, I want to be JO when I grow up!

        Please put me down for 2 miles run/walk, 11 miles bike today for a total of 13 miles!

        (And I went to Boot Camp class tonight, too...by the time I got home, I looked like [and smelled like] something the cat dragged in...)

                    start 1/9/06 (down 49.5inches as of 7/7/06)
                    10/03/06- Im in a size 14 jean!!!!
                    (Modified OWL-moving up rungs for convenience when travelling, keeping carbs moderate)
                    Foods I cannot have-
                    Black beans.- instant headache and upset belly.
                    spaghetti squash mixed with tomatoes- ravenous


                    I Made it!!!! TWICE!!!! (10/06 and 1/07!!!)

                        Today I walked. Really walked. For the first time in months. I think I have blisters on my feet, but other than that I feel great. A hot bath is in order tonight though. According to my pedometer I hit 4 miles on that walk. I still have to go out shopping so I'll update my total for the day a little later. I'm really close, so I hope I get 10,000 steps!! It's been so long!!!

                        UPDATE: I ended up with 12,807 steps on my pedometer! WOOHOO!!! I'm feeling every one of them right now. Thank goodness for Advil and hot baths. I think I need to start slower. LOL. I want to walk everyday, and today was so tough I'm going to need a few days to recover. But, no quitting.

                              MONDAY -- 1 mile (I think I already reported that, though...)
                              TUESDAY -- 3 miles
                              WEDNESDAY -- 1 mile

                              Total: 22/60

                              Tracie, you're doing GREAT. And you're right... every inch counts!

                              Melissa, keep it up -- I love that you're using the pedometer to measure every step. What a great way to encourage yourself to be active all day long...!
