You sorta tighten up your neck and stick it way out while you recite the letters of the alphabet...lol. What that lady is doing just looks like it hurts...I have a tender chinny chin chin...lol

Okay, I did it today too, but I must say...I wish I could do what Boy George does and just paint the whole underneath area of my chin with black paint...in the hopes of disguising it...rofl! When is that going to become a fashion trend? LOL...

            Re: March Double Chin Challenge

I did my chin exercises today. While I was surfing the net I came across these exercises for a double chin.

            • Stand comfortably. Slowly raise your head from your chest and tilt it back as far as possible. Do not strain. Close your mouth tightly so that your feel the neck muscles stretch. Count to ten and relax, bring your head back to normal. Start by doing this exercise once or twice a day than gradually increase until you are doing ten a day.
            • Stand comfortable with your head at a natural angle. Open your mouth wide and put your tongue out as far as possible. Count to ten and then relax. Does this as many times as you comfortable can, again building to ten.
            • Stand comfortable with your head at a natural angle. Bring your lower lip- up as far as possible, count to ten and relax. Repeat ten times.
            • Stand comfortable with your head at a natural angle. Pull your chin upwards so you feel your muscles stretch. Count to ten and relax. Build to ten.
            • Sit upright, then tilt your head back as far as you can manage, now open and close your mouth several times feeling the muscle stretch each time.

              Re: March Double Chin Challenge

Did my "finger poking" one today... also did a few of the others that Blackinese posted (tks Black!).

Just had a niggly consideration though: I hope these exercises don't develop the muscle, so that it gets bigger!!!
              Nahhh... I don't really think this; I'll have faith... it's just a niggle...isn't it??!!

Okay, here's one Tim told me about, but he is a man...so I dunno if you want to try it...Lay sideways on a bed (no this is not perverted) and let your head hang over the edge...then lift the weight of your head up and down slowly...you truly can feel the muscles working in your neck/chin area...Hope this helps.
