        You know, you just can't swim very many miles. Today I swam 48 laps,
        1200 meters = .75 miles. Thanks!

          Well, we are having freezing weather here in Georgia, and I haven't been able to get in the pool

          I did go to the gym today. It was my first time. I could only do 1 mile on the bike, and a half a mile on the treadmill (it felt soooo much farther though). I lifted weights too!!! Not a lot, but I did it. So another 30 minutes today for me
          I'm going to not be hard on myself, and just KNOW I will work my way to being able to do more

            1.5miles run/walk...its freezing here too so I had to get back inside

                            Hi, forgive me for not understanding how this works BUT how does this work? I started Atkins on April 2 and so far am down five full pounds. I would love to have some challenges....

                            So, please, how do I sign up for my challenge?

                            I won't be running but I'm commited to walking more and hoping on my home eliptical and stationary bike (for instance, instead of the movie theater I am opting to go to the musuem so we walk instead of sit on our keister.

                                pretty much by posting in this thread and stating you want to sign up for this challenge got you in.

                                tam will add you to her list and all you have to do is state how many miles you challoenge yourself to for the month of April. each day, when you walk, ride, run, whatever, come in here, make a post and say how many miles you did .

                                some members do a number of things and post all miles no matter what. some, like myself, only post the stationary bike miles. i don't really think tam cares one way or the other. miles are miles and movement is movement.
