    Welcome to the April Mileage Challenge!!!

    This is the same challenge we just finished for March, but its now for April!! Lets see if we can really dig in, get moving and all make goal!!!!

    For those of you who don't know me.....I'm LadyHawke and I'll be your hostess!

    I pledge 300 miles for April.

    Count me in too! I have to get the exercise train in gear for myself. As my first month, I'm gonna pledge 3 miles/day or 90 miles for April.

      tam!!! 300 miles? are you crazy????

      i've been mulling over this all day, wondering just how many to go for. i have my own personal challenge going on to bike 1000 miles. i am thinking to split my remaining miles in half and pledge that amount, leaving the other half for May. that would mean 107 miles, abt. 3.5 miles per day.

      okay then, 107 it is but i have to say, i don't know if i can do it and keep my other challenges on track. this will certainly be a challenge.

          I would like to join. I probably better start conservatively though and hopefully exceed my goal.

          Please put me in for 60 treadmill miles.

            Can I do this with a really wimpy goal? I'm just getting started in this and until I lose a lot more weight I'm not sure if I can do a lot more as my hip and ankle start to bother me if I go too long. I would like to pledge 45 miles this month - mostly will be on the treadmill.

              I'm going to be like zencyn and commit to a whimpier goal.

              I have to be careful with walking but an easy bike ride may be acceptable. I have a five-mile round trip near here that I do somewhat regularly. I'll commit to a 100-mile on bike for April. ANYthing to get this ol' bod a-movin'!

                WOW 300 miles, Lady, that's AWESOME!!! Way to go!

                Hrmmm, since I'm going to be doing mostly running, I'll sign up for 100 this month!

                  I'm in....I'll commit to 8 miles/week on the treadmill. It's been a year and a half since I injured my back, so this is part of my recovery and what I feel comfortable with for now.
                  I did 1.6 miles this morning. My plan is to do that 5 days/week until I can progress further.

                        I want to partivipate again. And I am off to a good start with 10 in the nice summer weather.

                        As I almost didn't make it in March and even had to climb less stairs and bike more in order to make it I will only pledge 30 again this time.

                        But hope I can do more!

                          Can I pledge 12 hours in the pool this month???
                          That would equal out to be about an hour a day 3 days a week...YIKES!!!
                          I hope I can get myself to keep going out there.
                          Oh, and if I can't because of the crazy weather we're having right now I will do another form of exercise to hit my 12 hours.
                          I know that isn't a lot but I'm afraid if I set something unrealistic for me I won't do it, and it will send me in a spiral mess of guilt
