  • May Video Challenge - Sign up and Report Thread

    This is for those of us wanting and needing the Video Challenge to commit to for May!

    I'm in for 25 videos this month. (huh, looks about right - minimal knee movement. LOL)

    Put me in for 24 videos...walk away 3 mile and belly dance are going to be the first 2 I do.

    current weight as of:
    goal: 168-175 pounds then we will see if I need to lose any more.

    **well...I had a cheat, after a great start- and I'm starting again...just because I owe myself a clean slate.

            ok so I only did the 2 mile walk away vid today- I ran a bunch of errands today and since I don't drive - I walk up a steep hill for about 10 mins then get on the bus and get off about a block before I'm where I need to be. I took a different bus home so I had to walk an extra 20 mins to get to the particular stop from where I was then I walk another 5 mins to get to my house from my stop.

            So all in all I think I did pretty good today- that includes my stretching and crunches with all that.

            Oh and I had to go back up the hill about a half hour ago to get a battery from the store!

            I swear the 2 mile vid makes me sweat more than the 3 mile- I don't know...

              Okay- so I'm at .5 video today! Bet you are wondering why only half...I tried that belly dancing video called pure sweat - it was so fast paced that I couldn't get all the moves down- I'm actually going to have to study the moves and practice them- my coordination is not what it could be. but I'm sweating like a pig after 20 mins!!! and I didn't even get all the steps done.

              I'm going to get out my walkblaster step and do the slim and thin video right now- to make up for giving up on this one. I think I'm going to order a beginner bellydace workout cause it's so fun and I really want to get this going...such a good work out- done barefoot!

              Will report once walkblaster is done and that will put me at 1.5 done tonight!

                  Jumping in with both of my Fred Flinstone Feet (as my DH calls them) and signing up for 25 WAPs.... I can do about 1/2 of the 1 mile, so by the end of the month, as a side goal, be able to complete the 1 mile and still be in an upright position!


                  Do we check in daily? weekly? whatever floats our boat??

                          Jumping in on this challenge.....would've been here sooner but my computer died last week. We were able to resurrect it this weekend so here I am. Will be doing 17 workouts for the rest of May - Slim In 6.
                          27 F 5' 7"
                          Before baby: HW:230/195 after 6 months on Atkins
                          After baby and current restart: 210/207/120

                          I'm too sexy.....for this bod; WAY too sexy for this bod

                          Phase: Restarting a clean Induction as of 7/29/2007.

                          Minigoals:
                          To get thru my first week clean: (8/05/2007) Done! Yay! and 3lbs down :/ but at least it's a loss.

                            I feel like a dolt for doing this- but I'm going to cut my pledge for the month down to 15 workouts. I've been fighting sickness and dealing with a sick baby too- so time is very short for me right now. If I get more done- hooray! if not, at least I have a new goal for next month.
