  • May Stretching Challenge

    Hi everyone--

    I'm relatively new here, and I was looking to join a stretching challenge but was surprised there wasn't one created yet!!

    I really love yoga, but I realize everyone likes to stretch differently (pilates, yoga, tai-chi, or just stretching in the morning or before exercise!). It's something I think deserves a challenge because it's so gooooood and essentially for our bodies.

    I'm just going to pledge my minutes for the month and post the progress in here (I guess that's how this board works). If anyone else wants to follow suit, i'd be thrilled to have stretch buddies!!

    I'm pledging 20 min/day = 620 minutes of stretching for May.

    someone had the idea and contacted me to start a yoga, pilates, etc. just as you stated but they didn't come through with it. congrats for starting it!

    my stretching is done on/with the stab. ball and i'm already in that challenge but keep this thread going. i know there are a few people that were interested in this type of challenge. perhaps they will come join you.

        Count me in! I do pilates..though i've been slacking lately. Maybe this will keep my butt in line.


        I will commit to 20 mins winsor pilates 4days a week for 320 for the month of may.

          Nice challenge Steph! May I pls join?

          I will commit to ten minutes stretching a day, five days a week (six when possible). Is that too little? I usually do five or six mins on my morning workout, so thought to lengthen the time by a few mins.

            i just did a quick 15 min yoga workout for today---loosened up those joints !
