Healthy Baby Bump Challenge

Hello all!

I figured we could use a challenege for all the atkins new moms and atkins moms-2-be, so this is an invitation to get up off the couch, step away from the fridge, stay out of the drive-thru, stop making excuses, and get our incubators/former incubators in gear! You are welcome to join--whether you are currently pregnant, or focusing on losing pregnancy weight!

Granted I'm well aware that there are times when baby wants what baby wants, but that is no excuse to lose your mind dive into a buffet of junk carbs! You can be pregnant, healthy, on atkins (maintenance), and not gain a ton of weight!

With that said, I'm challenging all the new and soon-2-be mommies to step up, work it out, and make the most out of your pregnancy for you and baby! If there are not that many of us, it's now problem, we'll just work with what we've got.

All you've gotta do is exercise, follow the maintenance phase of atkins, and post whether you are losing the baby fat, or packing it on for the sake of baby!

oh my God I love HBBC!!! I'm not pregnant but in fact I started atkins 'cause I wanted to lose my post-baby weight (he's 3yrs now!!!) .. and get pregnant this summer (in august or so).. but I still Have 55 lbs to go soy I don't know.. but well my main concern was ... once I get pregnant will I gain all the weight back again??? But with HBBC and Maintenance I'm gonna find the support I need to stay the healthiest and skinniest possible during and after pregnancy.. Thanx a lot and congratulations on your Baby Girl you look grrrrreat!

I'm just trying not to gain too much during this pregnancy...and after, I'll be right back at it strict!

Been slacking on posting stats....still eating on plan, just staying away from the scale for a while. I think this is the longest I've ever gone without hoping on and taking a look-see! Trying to see how long I can keep it up.

I'm still here on maintenance though...2 1/2 months to go!

Hey ladies can i join in? My LO is 5 1/2 months and i just started Atkins 08/16/07. So far so good, but any support and motivation would be great.

Hey Tasha! I'd be glad to have you join me. There were a few more of us, at first...but I have no idea where they went! I'm still going strong. I've got 40 days or so left until my due date and I'm still under 210lbs...so I feel great! I will be posting here once a week, from here on out...even after baby is here, until I reach my 165lb goal.
