              Re: Week #2 Pedometer Challenge

              I got in 5,763 today--I have a total of 40,211 for the challenge-I made 40,000 my goal.

Thanks so much for doing this, Cynthia! I have learned that my desk job keeps me tied too much sitting. I know if I wasn't involved with this, it would be hard to break a couple of thousand steps a day. That's probably a major cause of my weight problem in the first place, lack of movement. It was kinda scary to me to realize how little I did walk per day. I've also noticed that it doesn't take as many steps to get around the park after only 2 weeks. It was taking 1500 per trip around, tonight it only took 1,100 or thereabouts. My stride's getting longer, so I have to go around more times! My dogs really appreciate me taking them out too, so feel the love from Romeo, Juliet, Shakespeare and me, of course!

                Re: Week #2 Pedometer Challenge

8711 for today. Fell short of my goal slightly.

Think I'm going to "step out" of the pedometer challenge for awhile. I always forget to put it on, or when I remember I end up knocking it off and it resets itself. Kinda like when you drop a piece of bread on the floor, it always lands butter side down...lol. Well that was in the past...don't eat bread anymore.

Ok..sorry rambling. Good luck to everyone on the challenge for next week.

                Thanks Cynthia for running this.
