I am in for 50,000 again. I am having trouble getting there. My sister says I should get a steroid shot or cortisone shot in my heel. If I am not better by Monday, I will take her advice. I have walked 9,876 steps for Monday and Tuesday. 9,876/50,000 is my running total

                        Re: #9 Weekly Pedometer Challenge

I am sorry to report I am going to have to step aside from this challenge for awhile. i went to the doctor yesterday and they x rayed my heel and I have two heel spurs the size of fish hooks. he says no more walking for me until this clears up. He gave me a cortisone shot and inflammation medicine. if this doesnt work it will be surgery time. just wanted to let my walking buddies know that if you have foot pain to get it checked out. He said I was doing way more damage than good.
I will be checking in on you girls from time to time and I will be back, I promise. I do love my walking. You ladies walk a few extra steps for me each day.

Awwww Brady! So sorry to hear this. Hope you're able to do minimal walking (like around house/office or whatever). Do keep us posted as to how you're getting on. We'll keep your place "warm" for you by walking those extra steps, here in pedometer land!
