                Re: #13 Weekly Pedometer Challenge

I'm going back up to 75,000. Busy these days.

                Yesterday I did...

                Sunday 23rd - 10,281

A question for everyone... idle curiosity: Where do you wear your pedometer, and if at your waist, then which side, right or left?
Silly.... we know you have yours on your right, from your pic!

I have mine at my waist... right side. It falls off too darn much... just waiting for the day that it breaks...
                Before and after:

                PLEDGING FLIGHTS
Completed: 1st set of buildings and mountains (Everest,M.Blanc & Kilimanjaro, twice); Tower Masts & Chimneys; More virtual buildings; Challenger's Choice x 2 (volcanos and mountains on Mars). Currently climbing: Mount Snowdon again: 416/475

Start 10 Jan 2005. Maintenance since Aug. 2005.

                  Re: #13 Weekly Pedometer Challenge

sal, my instructions say to ............

Your step counter clips easily and snugly to your hip belt. For best results keep the unit in line with the "crease line" of you trousers.
i normally don't wear a belt so i clip the ped. to my front pocket directly in line with my foot.

Mine falls off all the time too! I count the splat as a step, LOL! I actually put a few glue gun beads on either side of the clip, held it open with something while it dried and that seems to help. or, if I'm wearing thin pants, I kinda of fold over the waistband and the clip stays put better. Doesn't work for jeans though.

                    Overall 10,208/50,500

My pedometer use to fall off all the time too. But my newest one came with a tether. It works great. I couldn't find a good pic of it, but here's one: http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.c...y_1968_5123206
It's kind of like a little lanyard with a clip on the end of it. You loop it around the clip on your pedometer and then clip it onto your pocket or waist band

A tether sounds like a really good idea Cyn!

i clip mine on the inside of my right shoe where it hangs over. I tried it on my side and it was way off, It was very accurate on my shoe. I am sure it is the because I am so much bigger with extra padding in the midsection. I counted the steps around the park in my head and then set the pedometer, I was within 5 steps so I just left it at that.
