    Welcome to the October Mileage Challenge!!!

    This is the same challenge we just finished for September, but its now for October!! Lets see if we can really dig in, get moving and all make goal!!!!

    For those of you who don't know me.....I'm LadyHawke and I'll be your hostess!

    I pledge 150 miles for October .

    This is my favorite month of the year.....the leaves change colors - the air is crisp and re freshing after the heat of summer - I feel so alive!
    What a great time to dig in and take this challenge seriously.
    Last month I was here, updating - but thats about it. I have been struggling - I feel like I've been struggling for a long time. And if you look up and see my member since date - you can see that its true.
    My attitude hasn't been the best lately and I know that attitude makes a difference - attitude changes everything. I have attitude now!
    I feel good, happy and excited about the October Mileage Challenge!
    I've pledged 150 miles this month and I will make goal!
    I will be here to encourage you all and watch as you get closer to the OMC goals you set for yourselves!
    Lets do this together! We can do it! And by signing up we are off to a good start!

      OK, I'm going to jump back in to the swing of things with both feet. I'm restarting tomorrow. Might as well start an exercise challenge tomorrow, too! It's been a long time since I've exercised and I've gained a bunch of weight back. All I am able to do at this time is walk, so let's go for 15 miles this month - 1/2 mile a day. If I can do more, then that will be good, too!

          Im curious, does walking at work count or does it need to be "exercise". Im a nurse and walk alot at work.

            Hmmmm, Can someone tell me how you folks are figuring out your mileage? I'm thinking about joining you, but the only inside excercise I can get is on a Nordic Track (We've already had our first snow which already melted, but I'm thinking we'll have more).

              Kntrylady, my elliptical has a digital reader that shows how far I've gone.

                I love October too! My fave month definately.

                I'm in for 60 miles this month.

                  Right guys this is my first challenge to do!! So i just have to count the miles i do ever day is it???

                    I've never tracked my miles before, so please put me down for 50 for this month.
                    HW=250+/222/GW=175 37F/5'7

                      I want to join but I'm not sure how to figure mileage. Some days I do an aerobic/yoga routine. Some days I walk. As it gets to be colder and icey I won't walk. So how can I convert my aerobics to miles?
