  • November Survey Thread

    This thread is going to serve as a type of monthly survey. I want to see just how many members are exercising on a daily basis and I hope this will get more of our members involved with exercise, whether on the board by joining a challenge or two or by just getting out and doing something.


    If you................
    • are involved in at least one ADBB Exercise Challenge
    • you exercise regulary at a gym, the YMCA/YWCA, Curves, etc.
    • get your exercise by training and running marathons
    if you exericse at all, on a regular basis, please post in this thread. There will no other requirement to do a second post. Just a simple post will suffice.

          I am not in an exercise challenge at this point. I exercise at curves 2-3 times a week and also do hip-hop aerobics 2 times a week. My goal is to exercise 4 or more times per week.

            I am in the abs challenge, the squat challenge, the pushup challenge, the exercise challenge, and I'm in the STAC (second time around club) Yoga Club. All are listed and constantly updated in my siggy.

              I'm in several challenges. I usually do a workout routine for 25/30 mins five days a week. I walk my dogs 30/40 mins daily (fast walk).
              Before and after:

                I too am in the Squat Challenge...I also work out at the gym 3 times a week...have a Cardio glider at home I will get on daily and like to walk around the neighborhood!

                  I am in the squat crunch and pushup challanges plus bctccw for 1000 minutes for november the presidental fitness challange and the november physical fitness improvement challange and the 6 week exercise challange . I also use my treadmill and steps plus weight training. Which isn't half as bad as it sounds since many of these over lap. Like I can count my treadmill time towards both my presidental fitness and bctccw challanges ect. I have been working out for almost 3 years.

                    I'm in the 6 week exercise challenge. I exercise 5 out of 7 days, usually walking or biking, and some stability ball thrown in.

                        I exercise 5 days a week, but sometimes only 30 minutes. Usually Si6, Slim Series, Slim Series Express, the Firm, or some other video, modified to whatever amount of time I have. I've worked out more, I've worked out (much) less. This seems to be achievable/maintainable for me.

                          I'm in 6WEC, squat challenge, pedometer challenge, and have been doing Power 90 video--trying to get regular with that again--it involves squats, pushups and abs. I walk every day and try to work out 5-6 days(P90 or other video) a week on top.

                              I'm walking 4-5 X week for 20-30 minutes. I have my own personal challenge to do sit ups & wall push ups 4-5 X week.

                              Exercising has been my biggest stumbling block. I am learning that is it extremely important. Exercising has boosted my weight loss thus motivating me to "JUST DO IT"
