      i am in...definately.....i cant start til dec 4th though....and it'll be an every other day thing so......***computing**** #EW$%R^T%$%RE ***recalculate*** #ER%&YG^T%R$# .....the number of squats for december will br 700.

      however, i am gonna put a little twist on these. my squats will be done holding 15lb dumbbells in each hand and....at the top of my squat in a standing position i will perform a bicep curl.

      so the final number of squats for december will be 700.....beginning on dec 4th, so that boils down to 50/day!!

        I need my butt to look good in the new jeans - LOL

        So I'm in - because of bad knees the number will be low - but 230 for the month will be done with no excuses! Once my legs strengthen up and can handle more without a problem, then I increase

          I've never done squats before so I'm gonna keep it at 200--- and if I go over then all the better!

            Although I'm wondering about my sanity right now...lol.....

            I figure I can do squats standing in my room without anyone around or even in the kitchen while cooking....so there's really no excuse.

            I'll start small and build up from there.....400 will be my goal number..

                      Way to go, Chris--working upper and lower body--hope you see great results soon!

                      Dana, be sure to put most of your weight in your heels when you do your squats, that helps take the pressure off the knees. The squats really do help strengthen the muscles around the knees, so good luck!

                      Good to see you, Holdittogether! You'll build up to doing a bunch in no time.

                      Great to have you back, Apple! Sanity's over rated, I hardly miss mine at all. I like to do my squats while I'm watching TV, that way I feel like it's not totally wasted time. (It also distracts me and I do them longer).

                      Come on, Mickkey--you'll do great this month!

                      Way to go last month, Purple! I'm so glad you made goal and I know you'll make it again this time.

                      It's OK, Alexa, I was close last month and could have made it--just got distracted. We'll do better this month.
