    Took it a little easier today. It was hot out! Did 6 miles and 9768 steps.

      i took it a bit easier than jill. okay okay... alot easier than jill.

      we took a walk tonight but i settled for just 1/2 mile.

        Even at 6:30 a.m. it seemed hot this morning. So I did 5.5 and decided that was enough for today. Have a great weekend!

          I forgot to come in last night..actually with Hubby gone I thought I'd be on this more..I've been trying to do things after work to make the time go by...so I cleaned out my closet and have decided that I can't get into the jeans and thats it ....I'm throwing them out.I have to start shopping in the womens...I've worn junior size 6 to 9 jeans all my life...and I'm trying to persuade myself it's the cut..lol....I really don't think I can get down to that small frame again for 5'8 and everyone told me I looked like a skelaton.my issue is the money..but 1 bag goes to the church for the homeless,1 bag goes to work theres a lady I know with 8 kids..and one bag to the dumpster...(she's only 42)yikes.
          oh well I rambled on enough...happy weekend everyone..

            to char.... ah, to have the same slimness we once had. you're 5 ' 8" and your goal weight is actually only 8 pounds more than my original goal weight. i'm just 1/2 inch over 5' . i can remember days of 102 and if i could even get to that number now, i think i would look malnurished. i certainly wouldn't be able to maintain it. being comfortable in our skin is the most important, as i see it. if that means the next size up, so be it.

            it's raining so the walk will be cancelled for the evening. there is no doubt that i can beat my numbers next week. good night alive, before getting ill, i had one day's walk that amounted to more than i got all week.

              Geesh Jimmy, you are so tough on yourself. Give it time. It took me three months to work up to these walks and I was hiking a couple times a week for two years before that. After all you have been through don't push too hard. That's always when you wind up with injuries. Besides, it makes our number look better! (she said with a wink and a grin).

                I've been rethinking my goal weight..I've been stuck at 150-151 forever...I'd take 145 right now..lol..but it just isn't happening..i get bummed out but I'm not going to give up the fight!!!

                  Char, you are so close and I think you look terrific. The one thing that works for me sometimes is to totally change my exercise routine for a couple of weeks and do something brand new. (But even that isn't a sure thing). If the whoosh fairy comes this way, I will remind her that you have been waiting a long time.

                    Today is my walking day off. I will lift weights today and my legs are saying GOOD! WE NEED A DAY OFF!

                                Good morning. Cooler but really humid here. YUCK! Thought walking would be a pleasure today and it was the worst day in a week because of the mugginess.
