  • Babysteps Week 4

    Hello, sorry I have been MIA. I ahve been doing AWESOME though. Not sure what's up with my weight but I just had my TOM so I expected the rise but not quite 8 lbs EEK. I ahve been running a lot and doing GREAT. I am addicted once again to exercise and if I don't do it I feel guilt. Which is good. I ahve noticed my moods are better too.

    I taught my oldest to skate here on the weekend. I even went toboganing on Saturday with my kids. It was a blast. I went down the hill quite a few times. I went out and bought myself some hockey skates so that I can skate this weekend hopefully with my daughter.

    Everything is starting to fall into place. I am making time for me. I even went out last Saturday and managed a long run of about 7-8 kms not too sure how far. I was extremely sore for 3 days after but, I kept up with the running.

    I hope that everyone elese is doing well. I ahven't seen anyone think I must have scared everyone off with my plan LOL> Oh well, I guess the way it was must have freaked everyone out. I ahve the next 4 weeks done and am sending it out here soon.

    Just about 1 more week done, doing awesome I was up like 8 lbs from the training and well. I am now officially down a total of 13 LBS since I started 4 weeks ago. I am very proud. My pants are getting loser all the time so I know I am doing a GREAT job and well, I know in 20 more lbs I will be at goal YAY!!

    ANy how just wanted to check in to see how everyone is doing.

    Better go I am off to do my 30 minute ss cardio

      It was weigh day today I am down to 183 YAY. I am ding very well eating is good exercise is awesome I am very happy with my progress thus far.

        Hi Sarah! Sorry i flaked out on my posting to this thread, I'm not in challenges much (ok...ever LOL)so I was a bit absentminded about it.

        I've been doing really well! after a bad back injury from snow shovelling (yeah yeah us Toronto people are such babies when it comes to snow LOL), I finally recovered and am getting back on track.

        last week we put the new treadmill together and I'm loving it! I started with 20 mins 4x last week plus 5 mins of warm up and down, Sun and Mon this week did 25, Today I did 30 mins with 10 mins incline walking. I'm actually impressed I managed to get up to 30 mins so fast it's been months since i've run! My farthest last run was the Terry Fox run in Oct (i only did 6k of it).

        I started back with the weights today too and stab ball crunches and leg lifts..

        I'm not big on weighing but took my measurements a couple of weeks ago, So at the end of march I think I will take them again to compare them against (i'd hate to do it too soon and be disappointed)

        Glad to hear you are still on plan and doing well too!!

          That's Great Sadie. I am glad you are recovering and loving your TM. They are awesome I love mine. I have been doing very well. I am definately losing inches not so much in pounds but, hey if I am smaller I am happy. My running is getting so much better and easier. I ahve been doing a lot of HIIT and it's helping with my speed and distance. I went out tonight and ran outside. I did my 5k loop in a little over 30 minutes so I was really cruisin for me. I even had someone drive by and turn around then give me the thumbs up that was cool.

          I am planning on doing weights tomorrow.

          I got a new stability ball yesterday for 4.98 WOW so I blew it up today and will do some crunches. My other one blew up real good. HA HA HA.

          I am heading off into week 6 here half way mark. I am up in weight this week after my huge drop to 187 probably cause of increased exersice or possibly ovulation. WHO knows. I know I am losing at either rate.

          I ahd beter go take care and keep up the GREAT WORK!!
