  • APRIL PUSH UP CHALLENGE : Sign up and report here!!

    Sign up for the number of pushups you want to do each day or for the month overall. Update the list by copy and pasteing it into the new thread and add your name and goal.

    * Update your stats by copying and pasteing the list and adjusting your own totals each time

    * There will be a reward for your sig when you make goal!!!!!!!

    * Types of Pushups that count

    • "girly" syle
    • "MAN" style
    • wall ups count (using a counter or wall)
    • basically, if it's a push up, it counts!
    * Be creative and try something new this month challenge yourself to try a one handed push up or maybe a two count down push up ...... push yourselves further each month!

    * Good Luck everyone and Have fun with this!!!!

                  Kristine and Kelly welcome tot he push up challenge! You will find that it gets progressively easier as the month goes on! When I first started doing push ups I could only do about 3-4 at a time and then rest adn do a few more. Now I can do 25 at a time. So it does get easier. Try doing as many as you can and then maybe do a few more later in the day and a few more in the evening ....... you will very quickly build up to where you can do your daily goal all in one sitting.

                  As far as posting goes you should update your numbers often so you don't lose track. We use a self monitoring system in this challenge so you are responsible for copying the most recent list and updating your own numbers. We are all here to cheer eachother on and encourage one another along the way. If you don't update daily just have some sort of tracking system of your own so when you do update your numbers are acurate.

                  I am glad to see you choosing to participate challenges are fun and also keep you on target!

                      Katie you can start by doing "wall ups" really allow your body resistance to make you build your arms up. Also if you have a stability ball that is a good starting point too............ I still do "girlie" ones as I can't do but two "real ones"


                      You do what you can and you build up slowly .......... welcome!
