      Wow you guys are doing great! How can you hula for so long without going nuts?!

      Did 5 HH today and 12 skipping - most ever in one go. I was working on my tricks. I can do crossovers fine. Double jumps sometimes (where you twist the rope twice for one jump). Can't do backwards, my feet get in the way.

      I meant to ask - do you hula in both directions? I normally do anti-clockwise, but did clockwise today - it was slower but a bit easier - wierd.

        Never thought about it, but I have always done it clockwise. I tried doing it the other way after reading your post, but I can't spin it fast enough not to fall asleep.

        How can you hula for so long without going nuts?!
        Well, I have a lot of exams these days, so today I read some notes while exercising. Yesterday I was procrastinating, so I watched The Robinsons while exercising with the hula.

        BTW, congrats for exceeding your HH goal! [They should include some fancy hula hoop icon in the list ]

          I took my measurements on Sunday and I've lost 6 cm from my waist since I started hooping.

          It's true that I would prefer to lose from the hips/legs instead of losing from the waist... but it's better than nothing, so I shouldn't complain.

          I messed up the units so I had to edit the post. It's 6 cm, not 6" as I have written earlier. My calculator says that's about 2.5".
