The and/or was just my indecisiveness really....

Please put me down for the weights, abs and running. HARD!!! I have no idea if this combined with 3 weekly sessions of kickboxing will kill me, but we'll see

I want Dr Martens too! I once interviewed their creator - Wayne Hemmingway of Red or Dead. He was very friendly and their office was amazing.

Gotcha. I feel like it won't kill you. I've seen you survive worse.

I used to have a pair - they were black, textured and gorgeous. They were misplaced at some point. They were so comfy tho.

Yep - trying to do 30 miles on an elliptical was far far far worse. It was sequential too - hence the crying on the elliptical mentioned previously. It takes forever to do a mile on those evil things.

          Worked a charm tho.

Hahaha. This is why I always cover the display with a towel.

All right, I had a 'what the heck' moment this morning and decided to do weights instead of crunches. So assuming that I go to the gym 4x-5x a week, this would mean almost an hour each time... (I was going to put a *help* smiley here, but I promise I'm not going to complain ).

Regarding the starting date... Lyssie, I have access to a gym only until Dec 22-23, so starting next week would be just perfect. Otherwise I will try to get things done before the end of Dec... I'll figure something out.

              Re: Triathalon

I feel like it should definitely end before Christmas - the last minute shopping and everything usually makes it a little harder to get everything finished in time.

I *HATED* that 30 miles on the elliptical, but I believe the first Triathalon was when I started running since I needed to get the mileage done.

                      Hi Georgina-

Since I am doing the Awesome Abs Challenge I can count those crunches right? or do I need to do 5000? instead of 3000?

You can count the crunches from other challenges.

Okay I am in...I choose bike (does recumbant bike count?), crunches and weights. Just to clarify...we work on the amts for 6 weeks and I can work on all amt goals simultaneously. So for example: I bike 4 days a week, weights and crunches 3 days a week.

                          And when do we start?

Yes, recumbant bike counts, and you have the plan down perfectly.

I am waiting for final approval from Jimmie (Challenge Mod), but if/when approval is granted, it will begin 10 November - this coming Monday.

                              HI GUYS!!

I will be starting a new thread for tracking of the exercise.

I am working on finishing up the webpage for this (so everyone can just have a quick, pretty, overview of what's up and make sure that everything is recorded properly) and it should be done today. I will also appear with some sort of signature-type cheering graphic at some point.

Let's have some fun, kick some butt, and take some names!!
