  • Rowing Challenges?

I hope I'm posting this in the correct place.

Rowing is a fabulous joint-friendly-any-age-can-do-it cardo activity.

I have a Concept II Rowing Machine and I would love to participate in a rowing challenge on this site (my poor neglected rower would like it too!).

Are there any rowers or rowing challenges OR anyone willing to create a rowing challenge?

    Thanks!

        Jimmie,

I considered it, but I'm still new to these boards and not sure what is involved and how much time committment I would have to give to it.

Have you ever organized (hosted? whatever the word is...) a challenge? What all is involved?

have i? only about 1,000 of them.

sometimes there is a alot of stuff to do when leading a challenge, sometimes not. the difference can be in how the challenge is organized, the length of it, the posting that is required by the challengers, if numbers are kept, awards are given, etc.

if you just want company in your rowing exercise, i would just wait with this thread, see who else comes along and would be willing to join you. if someone wants to lead it, you or another, i'd be happy to converse in private messages to help get things going.

            Re: Rowing Challenges?

Thanks for your quick reply Jimmie! I will wait and see if anyone else bites. In the meantime, I have gone to the Concept2 website and see that there are many challenges specific to rowing - I'm going to take a closer look there, too.
