      1.5 h this morning... then 1 h in the afternoon... and another 30 min of random stuff (push-ups, squats, etc.) home.

        Funny Georgiana. Anything not to do that cardio eh? I been doing exercise bikes and listening to podcasts lately. Not too bad

          hope it's not too late to join in.

          if not, i'd like to pledge 200 mins this month doing my strength training routine below.

          upper body: arm raises, tricep curls, bicep curls (w/weights) - (3 x 15)
          mid body: crunches - (3 x 15)
          lower body: squats, lunges - (3 x 15)
          50 Pound Challenge by First Day of Summer!
          3/8/09 - 224.0 lbs (Start weight)
          Summer Challenge Goal by June 21st: 174 lbs
          Ultimate Goal weight: 145 lbs
          Maintainence weight: 135 lbs

                      I was too lazy for the second round at the gym yesterday, so I just did 30 minutes home.

                      Today I was there twice though, 1.5 h and 1 h.

                          Yep, mostly free weights, but I also play on the machines if I'm bored or if the dumbbells I usually use are taken (it's a small uni gym, so we only have one pair of each dumbbell). The exercises I do in general are the ones Lyssie suggested here:



                          I alternate between arms and legs. I do chest/back/abs almost daily (except bench presses, at which I'm really bad), but I try to do exercises that involve different movements so I don't hurt any muscles or something.

                          Lately I've been also doing a part of the exercises using the stability ball. I like them more on the ball, because I need to use more muscles (for equilibrium) to avoid looking like an idiot in the gym. :P

                            That is cool. I have to look into those more. I always try to mix my stuff up. I watched a lady do her exercises the other days - it was very interesting. She used balace and very light weights. I'd like to try that.
