  • March Stability Exercise Ball Challenge!

    If you're looking for a new challenge that will work on your core and help you with stability and strength, this is for you!!

    Incorporating the stability ball into your usual routine will challenge your body in new ways and break up the monotony of exercises that have gone a bit stale.

    Need some ideas about which exercises to use with a stability ball? YouTube has all kinds of videos!

    Exercises that count in this challenge include, but are NOT limited to, the following:

    lying hamstring curls
    tricep extensions
    reverse crunches
    lying leg press
    push ups
    jackknife
    stretching
    slow swim
    side plank
    seated leg extension
    bridge ball squats
    rows
    stability ball exercise tapes/DVD's

    Basically, any exercise that you do using your stability ball will count!


    NOTE: Please state how many minutes you are committing to for the month in this thread and then check in at least twice a week. Make sure you state the days you worked out along with its minutes. At the end of the month, I will tally up the minutes and post the goalies in the Celebration Forum and hand out awards!

          I'm in ............ sorry I posted my Last Feb numbers so late I had a crazy week and didn't get on my computer hardly at all ........ I did make my goal which was awesome because I had to about force myself each night to do something ..... I'm battleing the clock on a daily basis these days I need about 3 xtra hours in my days! LOL

          Here's my goal and start up numbers

                        Here I am several days with out checking in as is usual for me these days .......... ahhhhhhh

                        Jo and Bio it's always so reassuring to log on and know you will both be still here still plugging along and faithful to this WOL .......... I have some rough days and silly as it sounds this is such a safe haven to come to ......... Just a challenge , just a few gals I have never met but such a good feeling...

                          I'm glad we can be a source of comfort, regardless of how small it is. I, too, like familiar faces. Work and home have been hectic around my place, so I find myself online less and less except for odd times during the night. At least right now, it's a normal time slot for me.

                            heidi, i feel the same. i haven't posted any minutes for a few days but i know y'all will be here when i post.

                            i'm having some slow moments, some 'i don't want to do anything' days. i really have to MAKE myself do something these days.

                            i can post some minutes today and will get more done tomorrow... PROMISE!

                              i just averaged out my minutes [300] per days [31] and find myself to be on track now. now, if i can keep it on track, i'll be fine.
