                      So i guess that's goal but it is a bit skewed as I was going for 150 mins each of resistance and flexibility, but have done 200 mins flex, and 115 resistance. I need to consider this balance next time.

                          Crappy. I screwed up my knee by doing seated calf raises and going for a long jog the same evening. Come Thursday, leg day, I'll try to reach squat goal if I can by using the leg press or hack slide machine, but the way it feels, it seems doubtful.

                              Hello Everyone:

                              I was feeling a bit worn out this morning, so I decided to lower the weights I use but cut the time between sets. So I got curious. I decided to calculate my work load and compare today's 39 minute workout with last weeks identical workout that took me 49 minutes.

                              I was surprised, so I'm going to share this little bit of trivia with you all.

                              You can increase the intensity of your workouts by decreasing the time between sets.

                              Last week, I lifted a total of (lb. X reps) 15,223 lb. in 49 minutes. That's approximately 311 lb / min.

                              This week I decreased the weights for the identical workout, I lifted a total of 12,366 lb in 39 minutes. That's a total of 317 lb / min.

                              At first, since I was reducing my weights, I felt like a wimpy, geek nerd studying chemistry. But, after calculating the approximate work done, I feel pretty good about myself. I did more work, in less time, and possible burned more calories because of the intensity of my workout.
