Who will help me get to my goal of jumping rope for 20 minutes straight? (NB if you think this sounds easy you are a better wo/man than I!)
No need to be able to do that though, any amount of jump rope minutes or hula-ing you want to pledge is great - you don't have to do both! Pick one and join us, or go for both. If you meet your goals there is an award for your signature.
Skipping is great for your cardio fitness - if you don't believe me try and skip for 5 mins straight. It can be fun too and if you're a bit advanced you can do all kinds of tricks.
Hula is great to do, and easy to fit into your life - you can do it in front of the TV and it can be toning.
If you fancy trying either of these consider joining this challenge for some less traditional, and very fun, exercise.
In this challenge you can do hula-hooping and/or jumping rope. Your goal is set by you - just state the number of minutes you wish to do in both activities (or only one) in the list.
You don't have to do both if you don't want to!
NB skipping can be tough on the knees, especially if you still have a lot of weight to lose, so please be careful to wear good quality trainers to minimize impact, try a softer surface and stop if it hurts!
NB Hula hooping can be tough on your dignity. Please only attempt it with a silly grin on your face.
