    yadda yadda............... y'all know the drill. but just in case you're new to the board or this challenge, read on:

    If you're looking for a challenge that will work on your core and help you with stability and strength, this is for you!!

    Incorporating the stability ball into your usual routine will challenge your body in new ways and break up the monotony of exercises that have gone a bit stale.

    Need some ideas about which exercises to use with a stability ball?

    Exercises that count in this challenge include, but are NOT limited to, the following:

    lying hamstring curls
    tricep extensions
    reverse crunches
    lying leg press
    push ups
    jackknife
    stretching
    slow swim
    side plank
    seated leg extension
    bridge ball squats
    rows
    stability ball exercise tapes/DVD's


    Basically, any exercise that you do using your stability ball will count!


    YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR MINUTES.
    I WILL NOT BE TRACKING OR ADDING UP ANYBODYS MINUTES BUT MINE. I WILL HOWEVER HAND OUT AWARDS WHEN THE TIME COMES.

    250 again for me. that seemed to be a bit of a challenge last month so i'll stick with it.

        I can't believe I'm doing this........ but I did it last time around with Atkins, and it was a real motivation to do some different exercises.

        With everything else I'm doing, and a holiday weekend for travel, let's try 200 minutes

        MAY 2010 Challenges
        ABS-1200, Squats-1200, Lunges-400, PushUps-700, Stability Ball-250 mins,
        I weigh once a week, Mondays !

        240 (nice round number)-Yippee 238.5 on 11-16-09
        226 (where I was when I fell off the wagon) - 01-03-10

          glad to have you joining us, kntrylady! oh gosh, try those yoga and ball exercises! the link is in the first post [hopefully, it still works]. i did a few of those last challenge and it made me feel like i've never been on the ball in my life!

                        i'm here, g. just not doing things each day. but today i did 35 minutes. i did some stretching, some work with the weights [upper body] and some lower body work
