  • Blue Sweat Belt for your waist???

Any body know whats up with that blue sweat belt that you put around your waist and velcros together has black on the inside. Does this really work to lose more inches in your waist area? Has anyone tried it or use it? Whats your aspect of the belt? What about a website that has reasearch info on it.

    Thanks,
    Curious Shelly

I don't know about the belts but the navy had my husband use the suits. They help you lose water weight but mostly for him it helped keep his muscles warm and prevent injury. The only thing is you get dehydrated so you have to drink a lot of water.

I bought one once - a *purple* one!! - before Atkins. Unfortunately I was so fat that even though I could just about pull it round me and fasten the velcro, it would ride up within seconds and form a roll around my rather obese tum, making it look even more ridiculous. The neoprene fabric it was made out of was really useful though...

I still have one! It's actually grey on the outside....black on the inside...and it's made from Bally's....I got it from Lady Foot Locker for about $6.....I used to use it but all it did was sweat really terribly under there and shaped my stomach in a "flat" shape but I wasn't really "losing weight" from that area...if anything it was just molding my fat and making me sweat! I used to wear it to sleep all the time.....

I wouldn't really recommend it but if you do use it don't stick it directly to your skin (it'll irritate it and change your skin color from the sweat!) instead wear it over a snug shirt! Hope this helped!

I have never used what you are describing, but from your descriptions, what you bought is a waste of money.

Stick to cardio, weight training, and your nutrition plan to lose fat. To maximize your fat loss, focus on the cardio part the most.
