    The butt, the gut.

I have a theory that seems to ring true for me, anyway:

Walking (speed walking) is for the butt
    Running is for the gut.

A combination of speed walking and intermittent jogging for at least 30 minutes a day would do wonders!

There really is not true spot reducing, but TT driver is correct. Running helps alot for the waist and butt. Especially for your hip to waist ratio. When you are doing Roadwork, as I like to call it, you are working the biggest muscles in your body, and you are working them against gravity.

In otherwords you are causing the great calorie burn, because we all know, the bigger the muscle, the more calories they burn hehe

I've found that walking and Pilates hit the gut.
The eliptical and jogging hit the butt.

Of course it could be because the walking and Pilates came first and my gut was the first to shift, and the running and butt came later. I'm going to keep up with the jogging and eliptical though as I need all the help I can get with that butt!!

I can't really tell because I started weight training and running and core strength stuff all at the same time pretty much. I am losing inches pretty evenly though.
