Ok, so I went to the pool this weekend and wasn't planning on exercising there, but once I got in it dawned on me that would be a good time to get some activity in. Well, I was a little lost in what to do. I'm not really comfortable swimming laps (I guess I'm not as good of a swimmer as I thought), especially when there are kids and other people playing in the pool. Any thoughts on exercises that can be done in place in a pool? I ended up doing a couple of short laps and then did some treading water with some different kicks, arm movements, etc. It was tiring at the time, but I got kind of bored, so I didn't last long.
Anyway, the pool is free to our community and less than a block from my home. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
