  • Ever feel like crap when....

    I've been out running 6 days a week for the past month and today the time just slipped away, i'm sure i'm being obsessive compulsive, but it makes me feel way lazy. I'm sure an extra day rest won't hurt, but i don't like it! :geek

    6 days a week is a lot for running...give yourself a rest break now and then! :nod

      Yes, rest days are VERY IMPORTANT; especially as your mileage increases!!! Your muscles need time to repair themselves and you run the risk of injury by overtraining!

      So don't feel guilty .. think of your rest days as your STRENGTHENING DAYS .. you'll run alot better after a rest day, trust me!!
