  • I just realized I have run over 100 miles

I was just putting together a spreadsheet of my running, dates, distance, and times, and now HRM data. And I just realized that as of today I have run over 100 miles since I started running again. That's a pretty big number to get my head around. The funny thing is I've only run 23 times. As motivated as I seem and as much as I talk about it, I am an absolute running neophyte. I can't wait until I'm lighter and faster and more experienced.

I'll never be a runner, I don't have the frame for it, but I'll be able to run as far and as fast as I can.

      Kewl

I'm getting close to needing my 3rd pair of sneaks since I started.
At 15 miles/week it adds up fast. Damn things only last a couple hundred miles :no

A couple months from now you'll look back and wonder how you ever managed to stop after 2 miles...it'll be just a warm-up to you! :nod

I know what you mean, if I run less than my 5 mile route I feel like I'm being lazy and cheating. LOL

Wicked Awesome!!!! It is completely addictive. I tend to kind of grin to myself during the day thinking that I can run 5 miles without passing out. I could not even do that 10 years ago when I ran cc in high school, the most then was 2 break then 2 more. I am just in awe of what our bodies can do if we just ask them in the correct way. I completly agree with Jake--at 100 miles on the record and your constant determination, face it Jim you ARE a runner. Keep on inspiring us!!!
