  • Summer Exercise Regime

OK I MUST become hard-core. I have heavy plans for exercise this summer, beginning July 1 and ending August 31.

6 days/week of combo resistance and cardio, 3 days per week jogging, 5 days per week lesuirely lunch walk. I know some people will say that I am going overboard, and if during this time I sincerely feel as though I am overloading my body, then I will reconsider. For now, I am going to jump into 2 months of this torture:

    Mon - Resistance/Cardio AM
    - mid-day 2 mile walk
    - evening jog PM

    Tue - Resistance/Cardio AM
    - mid-day 2 mile walk

    Wed - Resistance/Cardio AM
    - mid-day 2 mile walk
    - evening jog PM

    Thu - Resistance/Cardio AM
    - mid-day 2 mile walk

    Fri - Resistance/Cardio AM
    - mid-day 2 mile walk
    - evening jog PM

    Sat - Resistance/Cardio

    Sun - OFF

Sooo....you're working out 3x a day some days?? :yikes
You're better than I am. :sadblinky

What's your goal with all this exercise?
If you threw in some biking and swimming you could train for a triathlon.:nod

alright pardon my language but screw that. Way too much, couldnt do it. I'm not beating myself up over it though, I shot way too high. I am doing the SI6 program for the next 6 weeks. Those workouts kick my ***... it's enough for one day. At least for now. If I need to add over time, I will.
